The Token-Asian, House-Husband and Original SuperParent Colin Wee is reporting in for duty.
Colin is a 5th degree black belt Taekwondo instructor with 27 years of experience across three martial arts. Colin is a motivated leader with amazing energy. In his previous life as a coach, Colin has seen his training program bring beginners up to a national level of sporting performance. His name is – to this day – whispered in awe in certain circles around the World. It’s true!
Colin has spent the last six years at the board or committee-level of child-care and educational institutions in Perth Western Australia. Constantly motivated to care for his young family, Colin and his wife take an active interest in their children and are intensely involved in their upbringing. Colin tries to expose his children to varied interesting and worldly experiences.
Colin founded SuperParents to help parents better take care of their dependents, to create a safer world for children, and for (loud voice)WORLD PEACE(/loud voice). SuperParents is a natural follow on from the various roles he has taken on in the past (some background here), and Colin is excited to build an online community supporting parents and caregivers in Western Australia.
The SuperParents blog is a channel for users interested in parenting and family-oriented topics. The League of SuperParents retains the right to develop such ideas using our trademark parenting philosophy: State the Bleedin’ Obvious (TM), They Just Have No Clue (TM), All Hell is Breaking Loose (TM) and From Zero to Hero (TM).
Colin loves his wines, fishing, family holidays and enjoys cooking for friends and family.
Colin lives in Perth’s Western Suburbs.
